Opportunity
We are seeking a QA Engineer to develop and execute automated test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software products for our client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using testing tools and Behavior Driven Development frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Identify and document defects, issues, and risks related to the software product and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Conduct regression testing and continuous integration testing to ensure timely detection of issues and risks.
- Provide reports and metrics related to test results, test coverage, and defect analysis.
- Continuously improve and maintain test scripts, frameworks, and processes to increase test efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
- Provide training and support to other team members on testing best practices, frameworks, and tools.
Qualifications needed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
- Strong proficiency with testing tools and Behavior Driven Development frameworks.
- Experience with test case design, execution, and management.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
